These don't come around very often.  This is an awesome find,
it's actually extremely hard to even find a stub from this festival.  A program is even much harder to find and this one is in great shape.
Newport Pop is one of the earliest festivals during the festive times of 1969 when the rock counter culture movement and these concert events were budding.  This festival was actually about 2 months before Woodstock.  However, as for any concert event back then, camera, film & sound media were very limited in capability and portability.  So there is not a lot of info or photos to be found about this festival.
Woodstock was smart to have hired a filming crew, and had a much larger audience to allow for more photos to be kept and found.  So you won't find much information about this major event of the time.
The program has 14 pages plus the cover.  It measures 12"x12" and is the one seen in the listing photos.
Overall it is in really nice condition with light to moderate handling wear and some typical rusting of the staples.  Otherwise no rips, tape, writing or holes.  The spine is fine.
