History:
1899; see article in Farm and Dairy called Deere’s short-lived involvement in autos regarding the story of this car and its design.
1899- John Deere- originally a Deere-Clark Motor Company car predating the Type A in 1906 and the type B in 1907- discontinued after first being made due to original design causing folks to fly out of the back seat when the car would hit large bumps. Corrected with the Type A and the Type B with a larger back seat area; little higher sport back seat rest and back seat doors. Known as the original Deere-Clark Car.
