Monterey Pop Festival
This event went from Friday the 16th of June to Sunday June 18th, 1967.
The Grateful Dead played alongside The Mamas and Papas, The Who, Janis Joplin Big Brother and the Holding Company, Canned Heat, Moby Grape, Ravi Shankar, Quicksilver, Steve Miller, The Animals, Simon and Garfunkel and many others.  This is perhaps Jimi Hendrix most widely available concert with him burning his guitar on stage at the end.

This poster was printed by the original poster artist Tom Wilkes, in 1992, now 30 years old this poster is in better condition than almost all the first printings that circulate, is official and would save someone several thousand dollars if you wanted to frame one.  We have a framed one like this and we have never seen an original look so nice, they are in rough condition because of the foil paper being so hard to keep in great shape.  This one is really nice.
