Original Silver Gelatin Antique Car Studio Photo Framed 1916 BUICK D44 ROADSTER

Description

Absolutely incredible 8x10 inch original photo of a young gentleman in his 1916 Buick D44 Roadster, an expensive car for the day. The matting has the stamp of Mandel’s Studio in Boonton NJ. The license plate is 1916 New Jersey 13379, or possibly 13378...the last number is partially cut off by the headlight. The photo is professionally framed in a 15.5x13.75 inch wood frame, which does show some wear from age. The photo is in excellent condition!!
As I said, this was an expensive car in the day... I have not done any research into who the individual in the car might be, but he was obviously a man of means.
