    Description

    This EPIC 220 page
    2013 slipcased, hardbound edition
is Pierre Lambert's visual stunner of Walt Disney's most artistic masterpiece "Sleeping Beauty." Published in French and weighing a whopping 9 pounds, by "Les Editions de L'Ecole Georges Melies", this entry in Lambert's series of Disney films has become cherished by animators and serious collectors alike as the ultimate reference with unsurpassed imagery, foldouts, color and print quality to earn the title "the most beautiful animation books ever made." Lambert has earned unequalled studio access to the ultimate imagery as well, ranging from sketches to studies and final backgrounds. A better experience than freeze-framing the movie as you sense the whole creative process. A jaw dropping addition to any collection and a must have. My images do not do it justice, so I included some amazon review scans of same as the imagery photographed better. Other images are of my copy. Slight depression at upper cover corner, pages perfect. This rare hardcover version is rarely seen or offered as few will part with it! In my smoke free, climate controlled collection since 2013. Buyer pays insurance.
Don't take my word, here's a 5 Star Amazon review of this book.
"I always look forward to these rare but wonderful gems from Pierre Lambert. Snow White, Pinocchio, The Jungle Book and now The Sleeping Beauty, have all been beautifully illustrated, coffee-table sized volumes giving these Disney classics the "Art of" status they richly deserve. He has obviously been given considerable access to art works by the studio and has not wasted the opportunity. Each volume is exemplary of what Art of Animation books should always be and are sadly sometimes not. My only regret is that these publications are so few and far between - Mr Lambert has so many more classics to cover for us! I can hardly wait for his next!"
