Saigon, Vietnam 1930s Gazogene Coal-Power Peugeot 402 Car Photo Album Automobile

Description

This is a spectacular early album with photographs of cars converted to run on coal with equipment from 'Gazogene G. L. Universel.'  The album is dated Saigon, 1928 in a few places, but the photos seem to be late 1930s.  As gasoline was scarce during WWII, several companies offered conversions such as these.
All together there are about 18 photos in the thick, heavy album, many slots are blank.  Many photos seem to have typed identifying information on the reverse sides.  Generally clean condition overall.
